Two killed in Punjab over dispute for flying pigeons
A violent clash between two groups in Kadma village in Ferozepur district in Punjab, resulted in the deaths of two persons following a dispute related to flying pigeons.
According to reports, the conflict began after a scuffle broke out among children over pigeon flying, which later escalated into a larger confrontation involving adults. During the altercation, gunfire was exchanged between the two sides.
A man identified as Khalara, was seriously injured in the firing and was rushed to Civil Hospital in Ferozepur, where he later succumbed to his injuries. It has also been reported that one person from the opposing group, who was injured in the incident, has also died.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter after registering a case at local police station.
