The mystery behind the murder of two Punjab police personnel remained unsolved. The Punjab government, however, decaled Rs. 1 crore compensation to the families of both the slain cops.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Gurnam Singh and Home Guard personnel Ashok Kumar were found murdered with bullet injuries at a police post IN Adhiya village in Gurdaspur district. The area is near the Indo-Pak border.

Police also launched a probe about a social media post claiming the responsibility of killing the cops.
