Gangster Lakhbir Landa allegedly took the responsibility of murdering sarpanch Harbarinder Singh who was shot dead Wednesday during a wedding function in Tarn Taran district.

Tarn Taran Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Surinder Lambha said that the motive behind the murder seemed to be the result of old enmity.
