Punjab to have first AGTF police station

Grappling with the law and order issue, Punjab will have its first Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) police station in Rajpura town of Patiala district. The move is considered important as the announcement was made during the 'Operation Prahaar 2.0'.

To get more intel on the foreign based fugitives, Punjab police also created an 'Overseas Fugitive Tracking and Extradition Cell' to take swift action against the criminals. Police also issued a helpline number and anti-gang helpline and urged the people to call on 93946-93946 to provide information about the criminals.
