Punjab tops the list in parole jumpers. In Punjab a total of 154 prisoners jumped the parole while nine prisoners managed to flee from the hospital. Gujrat is on the second position where 87 prisoners managed to flee.

According to the jail rules, a prisoner can be eligible to get parole after completing four months of his sentence.
