Tumbler ridge mass shooting: City of Kamloops to lower flag till Feb 18
Kamloops City Council Wednesday, extended the condolences to the families of victims of Tumbler ridge.
The city council released a statement saying," Kamloops City Council would like to express our profound sorrow for the people of Tumbler Ridge. We acknowledge that shock, sorrow, and disbelief are being felt across British Columbia, and we recognize the lasting impact this tragedy will have on those who lived through it."
The statement further read," Kamloops City Council stands with the people of Tumbler Ridge in their grief. We hold space for their pain, and we extend our thanks to the first responders and medical professionals and to those who will continue to support the victims and their families in the days ahead."
The City of Kamloops will lower the flags at all City facilities to half-mast until February 18.
