SPS officials interact with students in Surrey schools
The School Liaison officer, Youth Unit and members from the Frontline of Surrey Police Service (SPS) Wednesday visited schools in the city and interacted with the students.
The officers visited the schools to provide reassurance and speak about safety following the tragic events in Tumbler Ridge.
"Our officers will continue to follow up with schools and provide additional support for programs like Surrey Safe Schools," a post of SPS on X said.
Vancouver Police Department Chief Steve Rai told Sher-e-Punjab that the police had already activated the safety protocols in the schools. He added that all the security measures were taken by the Vancouver police.
