Premier, Public Safety Minister travels to Tumbler Ridge

Premier David Eby and Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General Nina Krieger, travelled  to Tumbler Ridge to meet with people impacted by the tragedy, community leadership, and officials on the ground.

The Premier and minister will arrive in the community this evening. Details for a media availability will be shared as soon as possible.

They are travelling with federal ministers Gary Anandasangaree and Gregor Robertson, who are representing the federal government on the ground in Tumbler Ridge.

Provincial resources from across British Columbia are being mobilized to Tumbler Ridge to support the community, including mental-health and victims-services professionals. People are on the ground now, with more en route and preparing to travel.
