Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh approached Punjab and Haryana High Court asking the court to cancel the order by the Punjab government which did not allow him to attend the Parliament session. 

Singh is lodged in Dibrugarh jail in Assam in under stringent National Security Act (NSA).
