Bathinda police and farmers clashed during a protest Friday. Police used the tear gas shells to expel the farmers. Police did not allow the farmers to hold the protest. Police also conducted raids at the residences of many farmers and did not allow them to come out.

Meanwhile, farmers also blocked a stretch of Bathinda-Zirakpur stretch.
