The City of White Rock invites residents to provide feedback on the Draft 2026 - 2030 Financial Plan. The Draft Financial Plan recommends an average property tax increase of 5.06% for 2026, which reflects current economic conditions and inflationary pressures while ensuring the City can continue meeting community needs, maintain infrastructure, and deliver reliable services. 

Residents are encouraged to review the draft financial plan and share their input at www.talkwhiterock.ca/2026financialplan until Sunday, February 22 at 11:59 p.m.

“The development of the 2026 - 2030 Draft Financial Plan has been a collaborative effort between City staff and Council,” said White Rock Mayor Megan Knight. “We are proud to bring forward a draft financial plan that advances Council’s strategic priorities and supports our shared vision of a community where residents, local businesses, and natural spaces can thrive. Public input is essential to shaping the final financial plan, and I encourage all White Rock residents to take part and have their say.” 

The Draft Financial Plan reflects input gathered through earlier public engagement, including a budget survey conducted in July and August 2025. Feedback collected during this phase will be summarized and presented to Council to help inform the adoption of the final 2026 -2030 Financial Plan.

Residents may also provide comments in person at the Regular Council Meeting on March 9, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. located at the White Rock Community Centre (15154 Russell Avenue).
