Amritsar police Thursday arrested the main accused in Kamal Kaur alias Bhabi murder case. The accused was already wanted in many criminal cases including smuggling of weapons. 

Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the accused Ranjit Singh was arrested. The Police Commissioner added that the Ranjit Singh was wanted in a case related to smuggling of hand grenades and the accused was already booked under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). 

Ranjit Singh was accused of killing Kamal Kaur- a social media influencer allegedly with the help of his accomplice Amritpal Singh Mehron. Kamal Kaur was accused of posting obscene content on her social media platforms which was stated to be the reason of her murder.
