Man who tried to attack Donald Trump sentenced to life in prison
A man named Ryan Routh, who tried to attack President Donald Trump in 2024 at a Golf Course in Florida, was sentenced to life prison.
The prosecutor said this action was deliberate and evil and he also mentioned that Routh planned for many weeks and aimed a shot at Donald Trump, while he was playing Golf. Although a Secret Service Agent spotted him first and fired and fled without shooting. During this time no one was injured.
Routh was convicted for multiple crimes, including attempted assassination, gun crimes, and assaulting a federal officer.
He will stay behind bars for lifetime without parole and plus seven years extra for gun charges.
