Donald Trump and Xi Jinping hold telephonic conversations

US President Donald Trump and China's President  Xi Jinping spoke  Wednesday , ahead of a planned state visit by Trump's visit  to China in April this year.

Reports suggest talks were broad, covering multiple key issues of bilateral relations between two economic superpowers.

Trade relations and Economic ties, China’s concerns related to arms sale to Taiwan, and Global security issues and geopolitical flashpoints like Iran and Ukraine were discussed during the call.

Donald Trump on  his truth social post highlighted his personal relationship with Xi and its importance in easing ongoing tensions and enhancing economic cooperation between both the parties in Trump’s remaining 3 years in office.
