Gaza’s Rafah crossing reopens in limited ceasefire move
The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt reopened on Monday once again. This opening is for the passage of limited traffic between the borders. The crossing will especially allow patients to get treatment on the other side of the border, although the movement of goods would not be allowed. Egyptian officials stated yesterday that only 50 people will be allowed to cross the border on the first day.
This opening is considered as a crucial political move, although it could not make much difference as many parts of Gaza are still under violence.
