The Surrey Police Service (SPS) launched project assurance to keep an eye on the criminals, specially, extortion related crimes. 

The previous night, the officers were on targeted patrols conducting vehicle stops, performing curfew checks, and conducting search warrants. Project Assurance operates seven days a week, helping arrest and bring charges to those committing extortion crimes.
