City of Kamloops Accepting Applications for the 2026 Community Art Grant
The City of Kamloops is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Community Art Grant. This grant promotes the development and awareness of the arts in our community by supporting innovative and locally impactful projects. 

New for 2026, the application form has been expanded, and applicants now have access to the application evaluation matrix used by the Arts and Culture Engagement Group.

The Community Art Grant is awarded once annually and is available to all not-for-profit organizations. Organizations or individuals that are not an official not-for-profit organization must collaborate with an official not-for-profit organization to bring their creative vision to life. Ongoing operational funding will not be provided through this program.

In 2025, a total of $50,000 was awarded to the following 12 organizations for projects that enriched our community:

• Chamber Musicians of Kamloops
• Foundry Kamloops (Interior Community Services)
• Kamloops Interior Women's Centre
• Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association 
• Kamloops Campus & Radio Society
• Kamloops Film Society 
• Kamloops Highland Games Society
• Kamloops International Buskers Festival Society 
• Kamloops Music Collective
• Music for the People
• Project X Theatre Production 
• Vivace Chorale Society 

Applications for the 2026 Community Art Grant must be submitted by 4:00 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding support.
