Police transferred gangster Goldy Brar's father Shamsher Singh to the hospital due to a medical emergency. Shamsher Singh was admitted in a Bathinda hospital. He along with his wife was arrested last week in an alleged extortion case which was registered in Muktsar district in 2024. 

Shamsher Singh was produced in the court on Friday after his police remand was ended but he was admitted to the hospital due to a medical urgency.
