Prince Harry, along with his wife Meghan Markle, faced attention after he wore a Los Angeles Dodgers cap during Game 4 of the 2025 World Series against Canada’s only Major League Baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays. Being in line for the throne, some Canadians felt the choice showed a lack of loyalty. In an interview with one Canadian news outlet Harry said he was under pressure and wore the Dodgers hat as a polite gesture, invited by the team owner. He apologised to Canada and promised to support the Blue Jays in future games, even putting on a Blue Jays cap for the cameras. 

Fans in Canada expressed frustration online, as the Blue Jays were close to a World Series win after decades
