In the last 24 hours, 762 new cases of COVID-19 and 10 deaths have been reported in British Columbia on Nov 18.

Dr. Bonnie Henry, provincial health officer of British Columbia said,“There are 6,861 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. There are 209 individuals currently hospitalized with COVID-19, 58 of whom are in intensive care. “

“This second surge is putting a strain on our health-care system, our workplaces, and us all. We need to ease this pressure so we can continue to manage the virus in our province and also continue to do the many activities that are important to us,’’ said Bonnie Henry.

So far, 24,422 people have been tested positive for COVID- 19, and 16,914 have been recovered.320 people have died from COVID- 19 In British Columbia.
