Chandigarh: Police have arrested three persons with a motorcycle and a pistol used for the murder of a six-year-old boy, Harudayveer Singh, in Kotli Kalan village near here.

Mansa Senior Superintendent of Police Nanak Singh said in a press conference that all the three people arrested shortly after the incident are residents of kotli Kalan village.

The murder was carried out due to a mutual dispute. Sewak Singh Pali was in the house of the uncle of Jaspreet Singh, father of the child Harudaveer Singh. One day, he misbehaved with the minor girl there, due to which Sewak Singh was scolded by Jaspreet Singh. He later shared this with his brother. Then they hatched conspiracy to kill Jaspreet Singh and on this day conspired and fired at him.

The bullet hit Jaspreet’s son six-year-old Harudaveer Singh and he died on the spot. According to the police, the three arrested persons – Sewak Singh, Amrit Singh and Channi Singh – will be produced in a Court in Mansa today and remandwill be obtained, during which the weapons will be taken from where and various other inquiries will be done.
