Thane: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 12-year-old girl was killed by brother on suspicion of having an affair in Maharashtra’s Thane district, police said.
According to the police, the girl experienced her first menstruation. However his elder brother, working as a security guard, suspected that she had made physical relations. Infuriated over this, the 30-year-old accused killed her sister.
The victim was living with her accused brother and sister-in-law after her mother passed away.
According to the police, the girl started menstruating a few days ago and was bleeding. The brother noticed blood stains on her clothes and suspected that the girl was having an affair. The killer brother questioned her about the blood stains on the clothes.
The minor couldn’t explain menstruation to her brother. Annoyed over this, accused physically tortured her for four days and later killed the minor, police said.
Senior inspector Madhukar Kad of Central police station Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra said that a case has been registered against the accused under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC. Accused has been arrested in this case.
