Toronto: A 29-year-old woman was reportedly sexually assaulted twice by a man after he followed her while travelling northbound on TTC, police said.
According to the information, on Saturday, at approximately 4:15 a.m., a woman was sexually assaulted in the Bathurst Street and Wells Street area.
Police said that a 29-year-old woman was travelling northbound on TTC bus route 307 from Bathurst Street and King Street West and the suspect was on the same TTC bus. Police said that he exited at the same stop as the woman and followed the woman on foot before sexually assaulted her.
He later fled from the spot with her mobile, causing the woman to follow him and he sexually assaulted the woman again. The somehow, was able to escape from the suspect.
The suspect is described as approximately 5’10”, thick dark eyebrows, and bald. He was wearing a grey toque, grey jacket, long pants, and a blue surgical mask.
Meanwhile, a sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex and penetration.
