Ontario: As the Grandview Lodge, a long-term care home in Dunnville, is struggling with Covid-19 outbreak, a resident has died of the virus, said Grandview administrator Jennifer Jacob.
A health official of Grandview Lodge, however, said that health authorities has yet to ascertain the exact cause of death and it will be determined in the health unit’s weekly COVID-19 statistics report to be released on next Wednesday.
The Covid outbreak Bridgeview unit was declared on August 2 after 11 covid positive residents reported and they isolate in their rooms, along with another symptomatic resident awaiting test results, and her roommate, officials said.
