Chandigarh: Former Deputy Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Tuesday appeared before a Faridkot court in connection with the Kotkapura firing case.
During this, Sukhbir Singh Badal targeted the Punjab government. Badal said the Aam Aadmi Party was flouting the law. The government machinery was misused by the Punjab government to cover their failure. The next hearing of the case will be on June 14.
The judge, after hearing arguments from both sides, adjourned the hearing to the next date.
There are two FIRs 129/18 and 192/15 registered in the Kotkapura firing case. The SIT, headed by ADGP L K Yadav and SSP Bathinda Gulneet Singh Khurana, has submitted a 2,400-page supplementary challan a day before the death of former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal.
Earlier, on February 24, 2022, a 7,000-page charge sheet was filed in the Faridkot court.
