New Delhi: The police custody of Aftab Poonawalla, accused in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, has been extended for 4 days by the Saket Court. Aftab’s police custody was to end Tuesday.

Aftab was produced before the Saket court through video conferencing today. During this, he confessed his crime in front of the court and said that whatever he did, he did it in a fit of rage.

He confessed to kill Shraddha and also said that he is now fully cooperating with the police in the investigation.

Aftab said, “I have told the police where the pieces of Shraddha’s body were thrown. It’s been so long now that I’ve forgotten a lot.” He said that whatever happened was by mistake. He answered all the questions in English. He also answers questions in English in police interrogation, police said.

The Saket court has extended Aftab’s remand by four days on the demand of Delhi Police. The police will now once again conduct a search operation in the forests where Aftab threw the body pieces.

According to police sources, Aftab is constantly trying to divert the investigation. He is constantly changing his statements. He has changed his statements several times about shraddha’s body pieces, weapons and Shraddha’s mobile, police said.
