New Delhi: An Indian Air Force (IAF) trainer aircraft has crashed in Chamarajanagar, Karnataka. It is a matter of relief that the pilots are safe.

“A Kiran trainer aircraft of the IAF crashed near Chamrajnagar, Karnataka today, while on a routine training sortie. Both aircrew ejected safely. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident,” IAF said.

At present, a Court of Inquiry has been ordered to find out the cause of the accident and exact reason of the accident is still not known. Recently the Apache helicopter of the Indian Air Force was landed in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh.

There was a minor technical fault in the Apache helicopter. After which the pre-emptive landing of Apache was done.
