New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry has approved a CBI inquiry against Manish Sisodia in Feedback Unit (FBU) snooping case in Delhi.

The CBI had sought permission to register an FIR against Manish Sisodia.

Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena had referred the matter to the Home Ministry for approval. The Home Ministry has approved the probe under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Manish Sisodia is accused of making feedback unique in 2015-16 by keeping rules and rules in mind.

It is alleged that the feedback unit spied on political people and Manish Sisodia was the vigilance department minister.

Earlier, the CBI had also raided Delhi’s liquor policy against Manish Sisodia. In this case, the CBI has also summoned Manish Sisodia and has called him on February 26 to know the answers to some questions. Now the CBI is going to file a new case against him. In such a situation, the difficulties of the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi are bound to increase.
