Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday launched a number and email ID seeking suggestions from the people of Gujarat to name the party’s Chief Ministerial candidate for the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections.
Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other senior leadership of Gujarat urged people to send their suggestions to the party through SMS, WhatsApp, voice mail and e-mail to select the CM candidate from the party. He said that AAP will announce the CM face on November 4 on the basis of suggestions given by the people of the state.
The AAP released a number -6357000360 and e-mail – aapnocm@gmail. com, where people can send SMS, WhatsApp messages, and leave voice messages till 5 pm on November 3, Kejriwal said.
Earlier, addressing a massive rally in the Navsari here, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that AAP is receiving tremendous love and response from people of Gujarat during elections campaigns and it is a proof that the party will sweep the assembly elections with a staggering margin by breaking the bastion of BJP this time.
CM Mann said that ruling BJP had only looted the people of Gujarat and it has not done anything for their welfare in its 27-year of regime but AAP will bring reform into the health, education and government system by eliminating corruption just like party did in Delhi and Punjab.
