Chandigarh: Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has openly blamed the government for the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala. In a recent interview, Diljit broke his silence on the killings of artistes in the past and blamed the “incompetence of the government” for it.

Diljit said in a TV interview, “All of them worked hard. I don’t think an artist can do anything wrong with anyone, I am talking about my experience. Nothing can happen between the artist and anyone else then why would anyone else kill someone else? This is very sad.”

He said that it is also very difficult to talk about it. On the withdrawal of Moosewala’s security before his murder, Diljit said, “This is 100 per cent failure of the government. It is politics and politics is very dirty. We can pray to God that he gets justice and such a tragedy does not happen.”
