Chandigarh: Kirandeep Kaur, wife of Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh, arrived at Amritsar airport on Thursday to board a flight to London where she was stopped. Kirandeep Kaur reached the airport at 11.40 am. She was on her way to the UK on a two-and-a-half o’clock flight.
Seeing his name in the list, immigration stopped her and questioned her for over three hours. After this, she was sent back to her in-laws’ village Jallupur Kheda under police protection.
According to airport sources, Kirandeep Kaur had arrived at the airport to go to Birmingham. When she informed the immigration counter, the immigration did not allow her to travel due to the lookout circular and detained her.
Amritpal Singh has been on the run since March 18, after which his parents and wife were under tight police security in village Jallupur Khera.
Amritpal’s wife Kirandeep Kaur has reportedly close links with terrorist organisation Babbar Khalsa. Before marriage, she used to work in an online company. She came in contact with Amritpal a year ago through social media. Kirandeep Kaur is a citizen of the United Kingdom (UK)
