New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday granted bail to former Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain for six weeks.

This bail has been given on the basis of medical grounds. The supreme court will hear the matter next on July 11.

Jain has been asked to submit a health report to the court on July 10.

The Supreme Court has asked Jain not to interact or contact the media in any way in this matter.

On May 18, the SC had issued a notice to the ED seeking its response in the case. Jain has been in custody since May 31, 2022.

On May 6, AAP leader Satyendar Jain slipped into the washroom of Tihar Jail and fell into the washroom of Tihar Jail. He was admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in the morning.

After his condition deteriorated around 12 noon, he was shifted to Lok Narayan Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP) and put on oxygen support.
