There was a natural gas leakage caused by a construction site near Keith and Taylor way. Fire departments were called to the scene around 2:15am, since they were working to bring the leak under control.
Five homes were evacuated and gas services for about 80 homes were turned off for repairs.
A large stretch of Taylor Way has been closed to traffic and due to severity of damage the road will likely to close until afternoon or longer.
