In a major development in the murder case of Sidhu Moosewala, the Delhi Police special cell arrested two of the most wanted criminals linked with Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.
On Sunday night, the Delhi Police have arrested five people in connection with the case so far, including Ankit Sirsa and Sachin Bhiwani.
“Ankit Sirsa, the yougest and most desperate shooter, who opened fire with both hands at Sidhu Moosewala and Sachin Bhiwani, who provided crucial support-hideouts, weapons etc- were arrested”, said HGS Dhaliwal, Special CP, Delhi Police.
Ankit was one of the shooters involved in the killing of Moosewala, while Bhiwani harboured four of them, Dhaliwal added.
There are two other cases of attempted murder in Rajasthan involving Ankit, resident of Sirsa village in Haryana.
Police recovered a pistol of 9MM bore and 10 live cartridges, a pistol of .30MM bore and 9 live cartridges, three Punjab Police uniforms and two mobile phones with a Sim card and dongle.
Last month, the special cell had arrested three people, including two shooters- Priyavrat alias Fauji(26), a resident of Sonipat in Haryana; Kashish (24), from Jhajjar district; and Keshav Kumar (29), a resident of Bathinda, Punjab.
