Surrey: The President of the Kabaddi Federation, Kamaljit Kang alias Nitu, was shot at by the unidentified assailants outside his house in Surrey’s Bear Creek area on Friday. Nitu, who was injured by bullets, has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

On receiving information, the police also reached the spot, but before that the attackers fled from the spot. The total number of people who attacked Kabaddi promoter Kamaljit Kang alias Nitu is yet to be ascertained, but Canadian police are trying to trace the absconding attackers from the footage captured in CCTV cameras installed around the scene.

Also, the police are investigating the points related to Nitu’s old rivalry.

Family members of Kamaljit Kang, originally from Punjab, rushed to the hospital after learning of the attack. Also, many Kabaddi players living in Canada are also reaching the hospital to know the condition of Nitu.
