New Delhi: The construction of the mosque on the land given to Muslims in Ayodhya on the orders of the Supreme Court is expected to be completed by December 2023.
A senior official of the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust, which is constructing the mosque, said that if this happens, it will be a coincidence that the construction of the structure of the mosque will also be completed around the completion of the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.
The land on which this mosque will be built has been given to the Muslim side in compliance with the order given by the Supreme Court in the Ram Janmabhoomi Babri Masjid case.
The Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board has formed the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust for the construction of a mosque.
By December 2023, we will have the structure of the mosque ready.”
“We hope to get a map of the mosque, hospital, community kitchen, library and research centre from the Ayodhya Development Authority by the end of this month. Immediately after that, we will start the construction work of the mosque.
Although the foundation will start the construction of other things along with the mosque, but because the mosque is small, it is likely to be ready soon. Although no time frame has been set for its construction, it is expected that within the next one year (by December 2023), we will prepare the structure of the mosque.”
