New Delhi: The CBSE class 12 board exam results have been declared. A total of 87.33 per cent students have passed the CBSE Class 12 examination this year.

CBSE will not give first, second and third division to the students, no merit list will also be released. The notice regarding CBSE Board Result 2023 has been issued on the official website, results.cbse.nic.in.

Students can check their results from here. The intermediate examination was held from February 15 to April 5, 2023.

A total of 87.33 per cent students cleared the exam this year, which is 5.38 per cent less than last year. Officials said that the board has decided to stay away from the process of giving first, second and third class to students on the basis of their marks.

“The CBSE will not declare any merit list to avoid unhealthy competition among students. However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1 per cent students who have scored the highest marks in various subjects,” he said.

Last year, 92.71 per cent students cleared the CBSE Class 12 exams.

This time 99.91% students of Trivandrum zone have passed the examination. Overall, the pass percentage of girls (90.68%) is also 6.01% better than boys (84.67%). As many as 1,12,836 students scored above 90% and 22,622 scored above 95%.
