London: Queen Elizabeth II, who is Britain’s longest serving monarch, passed away at the age of 96. She had been ill for a long time.
Doctors had raised concerns about her health and she was under the supervision of doctors.
Buckingham Palace issued a statement on Thursday saying, “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”
Her condition was critical and she was under the supervision of doctors.
