Vancouver: B.C. Premier David Eby has issued a plea for peaceful protest after the constituency office of former cabinet minister Selina Robinson was vandalized.
Robinson’s office in Coquitlam was plastered with what Eby called ‘hateful messages’ less than 24 hours after she announced her resignation as post-secondary education minister on Monday.
Robinson left her position as minister of post-secondary education amid heavy criticism over her comments last week that
modern Israel was founded on “a crappy piece of land.”
The Rabbinical Association of Vancouver says in a letter to Eby that he “capitulated” to a small but noisy group of people in a way that’s dangerous for democracy.
