British Columbia: The B-C Conservative Party says if it’s elected in October, it will eliminate portable classrooms in Surrey by increasing class sizes.
Party leader John Rustad says having students learning in portable trailers is wrong and the party will get students out of these portable classrooms if they are in power this fall.
Rustad unveiled the policy Monday, saying they aim to make life easier for busy parents and families.
Rustad says Conservatives would increase or maintain existing student-teacher ratios by hiring more teachers throughout B-C while
moving students indoors.
