Washington: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the United States from June 21 to June 24 where President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will welcome him.
Ahead of the Indian Prime Minister’s visit, preparations are underway in the U.S.
On Monday, U.S National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said the U.S. is very much looking to have the Indian Prime Minister here.
However, it is not clear whether both the leader will hold a joint press conference.
But, John Kirby said the U.S. has a significant defence partnership with India and terrific cooperation inside the Quad, across the Indo-Pacific with India.
“There is a lot to talk about and we are looking forward to the visit,” he said during a briefing on Monday.
