Chandigarh: With the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab, the party’s unmarried ministers and MLAs have started preparations to settle down after getting married.
In a latest development, the Cabinet Minister Harjot Bains is all set to marry to IPS officer and Mansa’s current SP Dr Jyoti Yadav in Sri Anandpur Sahib.
Though the dates for the wedding have not been announced yet, the education minister and the family members of the IPS officer have started preparations for the wedding. According to the information, Jyoti Yadav is a 2019 batch IPS officer and her family lives in Gurugram. They are likely to get married on March 26.
Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan congratulated the couple and also shared their photo on the twitter.
Earlier, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had married Dr Gurpreet Kaur in July last year after the formation of the government. On October 7, 2022, 27-year-old AAP MLA from Sangrur, Narinder Kaur Bharaj, also married party worker Mandeep Singh Lakhewal.
On January 26, AAP MLA from Fazilka Narinder Pal Singh Sawna (31) married Khushboo Sawansukha and on January 30, Ferozepur MLA Ranveer Singh Bhullar (62) married Amandeep Kaur Gounsal.
Meanwhile, Bagha Purana MLA Amritpal Singh Sukhanand, state Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer and AAP MP Raghav Chadha are still unmarried.
