British Columbia: A 34-year-old woman has been charged after trying to apply for a nursing position on Vancouver Island with forged documents.
Central Saanich police say the B-C Prosecution Service has approved charges of forgery and impersonation against the woman.
Police say they were contacted by Island Health in October after the accused applied for a position using suspicious documents.
The resulting investigation found she had never been a registered nurse in B-C, but may have worked at other health care jobs in B-C and Alberta under a number of aliases.
