British Columbia: The B-C government says it’s set to release a strategy that will ensure private training institutes that cater to international students will provide quality education.
Advanced Education Minister Selina Robinson says the province will announce a “suite of actions” that she claims will significantly increase quality standards in international education.
Robinson says she has heard stories from international students who’ve found themselves in disappointing situations with one example being that students don’t have in-class instruction even though they were told by school that there would be in-person classes before coming to Canada.
The move came after the federal government announced a two-year cap on international student admissions.
