B.C.-As election day approaches in British Columbia, party leaders are making their final campaign efforts in key areas. Conservative leader John Rustad held a rally in Surrey, emphasizing promises to improve health care, expand SkyTrain service, replace the Massey Tunnel, and enhance public safety. He also expressed intentions to eliminate SOGI 123 resources in schools, arguing that the education system should focus on teaching students critical thinking skills.

Rustad received applause for criticizing the current Provincial Health Officer and vaccine mandates for health care workers. He plans to continue campaigning in North Vancouver and West Vancouver.

NDP Leader David Eby is also active, making announcements and campaign stops in North Vancouver and Surrey. Green Leader Sonia Furstenau is focusing on her home riding, starting with a climate announcement in Victoria and canvassing later in the day.
