British Columbia: As various issues take center stage in the ongoing provincial election, with promises being made by both the governing and opposition parties, a recent survey reveals that most businesses in Greater Vancouver believe there is a lack of economic vision in British Columbia. The primary concerns for businesses are economic strategy, housing, and affordability, while residents prioritize healthcare, housing, affordability, and public safety. The survey also indicates that many businesses are considering leaving BC.

BC Conservative Leader John Rustad has called for addressing crime and removing certain mandates to strengthen the economy. BC NDP Leader David Eby emphasized the need for affordable housing and improved public services, while BC Green Leader Sonia Furstenau highlighted the need to address inequality, poverty, and solutions for the homeless population.
