Israeli airstrikes on Monday killed over 274 people in Lebanon, marking the deadliest day since the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war. The strikes targeted Hezbollah weapons sites in southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley, prompting thousands of people to flee. In response, Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets into northern Israel. The ongoing conflict has escalated following Hezbollah’s involvement in support of Hamas, raising fears of a broader war. Despite calls for residents to evacuate, many Lebanese remain in vulnerable areas as Israeli attacks continue to expand.
