Ottawa: NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh announced that his party is withdrawing from its supply-and-confidence agreement with the Liberals, accusing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of failing Canadians and being too influenced by corporate interests. Singh’s move increases the likelihood of an early election, framing the upcoming vote as a choice between the NDP and Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre. Trudeau and the Liberals have responded by emphasizing fundraising successes and dismissing Singh’s claims.
