British Columbia: TransLink is providing additional bus services to assist commuters after a rail disruption halted the West Coast Express (WCE), which normally serves over 3,000 daily passengers. The WCE, which operates on Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) tracks, cannot run due to the ongoing labor dispute between CPKC and Teamsters Canada Rail Conference. TransLink has arranged supplemental bus services for affected stations and provided alternative routes for passengers to connect with the SkyTrain.
