Vancouver : The Vancouver Canucks clinched a tense victory in Edmonton, securing a 2-1 lead in their Round 2 Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Edmonton Oilers. Brock Boeser and Elias Lindholm both netted two goals, supported by goaltender Arturs Silovs, who made an impressive 42 saves. The Canucks started strong with three goals in the opening period, asserting their dominance early on.

Team captain Quinn Hughes expressed pride in the team’s performance, particularly in their ability to contain Oilers’ superstar Connor McDavid, despite his significant ice time. Coach Tocchet commended Silovs for his composure and stellar play on the big stage, sentiments echoed by Hughes, who lauded the goalie’s crucial saves.
